Tracy Vogt, a caretaker at Charlie’s Acres Farm Animal Sanctuary in Sonoma, California, recently shared the heartwarming tale of Simon, an extraordinary cow who defied the odds.

Simon’s journey began in a petting zoo where he endured a life of neglect and suffering. Emaciated, malnourished, and gravely ill, he was on the brink of death when a compassionate volunteer rescued him.

When Simon arrived at Charlie’s Acres, his frail frame and desolate appearance tugged at the heartstrings of everyone who laid eyes on him.
