Jan Wein discovered a collection of unlabeled Kodachrome slides featuring 1950s photos of New York City during his time living in Manhattan under Ed Koch’s mayoralty in the 1980s. He later moved to Pittsburgh and is still residing there. These slides were found on trash day, providing abandoned treasures. Jan has since been sharing several highlights from this collection.
