Heartwarming Farewell: Cincinnati Zoo’s Elder Penguins Bid Adieu in Final Parade

Get ready to witness a heartwarming spectacle as the Cincinnati Zoo bids farewell to their beloved elder King penguins. Stacey, Larry, Martin, Luther, and Bebe, the adorable penguin quintet, delighted the crowd during the kickoff of the 2024 Penguin Days. These charming creatures waddled alongside their keepers, playfully interacting with the appreciative audience. As the penguins enter their golden years, the zoo has decided to retire them from public parades.

Catch the final year of the Penguin Parades on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holiday Mondays (Jan 15 & Feb 19) at 11 am, as long as the temperature is below 50 degrees. It’s a bittersweet moment as we celebrate the joy these penguins have brought us over the years.
