Artist Martin Bullock found a unique hobby during lockdown: creating hybrid animals. Inspired by literature and film, he calls them Pixelmated Animals. Using programs like Pixelmator and Photoshop, Bullock blends and contrasts elements from different images to create these creatures. He meticulously cuts, overlays, erases, blends, and corrects colors to seamlessly integrate the parts. While he embraces generative fill, he relies mostly on his creativity and manual editing skills rather than AI to bring these fantastical animals to life.
