Artist Elmo Hood has documented his creative process, outlining how he incorporates playing cards into his paintings.

In his technique, he limits himself to using cards to determine the color palette for each composition. He only uses black paint for shading and outlining. Although this approach takes a lot of time, Hood believes that it produces an exceptional and textured outcome.
