Maskull Lasserre transformed two pianos into a captivating sculpture called The Third Octave. The artist spent 2,000 hours intricately dissecting and intertwining the pianos to create one elongated instrument. Lasserre took risks and embraced uncertainty to elevate the pianos into thought-provoking works of art. He wanted to discover unexpected possibilities by transforming musical instruments into sculptures, trading sound for intricate visuals and thought.
