We’re excited to feature photographer Amy Corson, who ingeniously transforms obsolete cassette tapes into captivating portraits of musicians.
Ten years ago, she found a collection of old tapes while organizing her closet. Intrigued by the cassette tape of Bob Dylan’s album ‘Blood on the Tracks’ that resembled his curly hair, she used it to craft a distinctive portrait. This experiment ignited an ongoing endeavor to create likenesses of her beloved musicians. By merging music and art, Amy’s creations symbolize the ability of both to motivate and provoke us.
