Ecocapsule NextGen: A Spacious and Sustainable Micro Home

Tiny homes gained popularity years ago and have since become established in the field of architecture. What began as a trendy fad is now becoming a viable housing option and we’re confident that this trend will continue in the future. These homes offer a space-saving and environmentally friendly living solution that lightens the burden on the planet. They provide a simplistic and minimalistic alternative to the dominating and materialistic homes that have become prevalent. If you share my love for exploring tiny homes, then you have come to the right place. Allow me to introduce the Ecocapsule NextGen!

More: Ecocapsule

A few years ago Ecocapsule fulfilled its promise of an egg-shaped off-grid micro home. The original Ecocapsule was highly successful as it relied exclusively on solar and wind energy for power. Now, Ecocapsule is introducing a new and improved version called the Ecocapsule NextGen. This NextGen micro home will retain the same egg-shaped design but with increased space.

The Ecocapsule NextGen has been enlarged from 4.67m to 5.2m, surpassing the size of its predecessor while preserving its compactness. The previous gull-wing door of the original Ecocapsule has been replaced with a standard double glass door. This modification allows for greater openness to the surrounding environment and simplifies the manufacturing process. The NextGen home is designed for transportation by truck, trailer, or container.

The Ecocapsule NextGen’s interiors will have increased storage space and an additional window. It includes a living area with a convertible sofa and a collapsible table. The compact home also has a small kitchen and bathroom. The solar panel system will be expanded to provide more off-grid power, along with a wind turbine and battery system.

“We are excited that Ecocapsule has attracted many customers, and, thanks to their feedback, we have the opportunity to work on an improved generation and stay ahead of the competition,” said co-founder of Ecocapsule, architect Tomáš Žáček. “The most significant change in the product design will be the installation of a large panoramic window, which will bring people even closer to nature.”
